Darknet Markets Observatory
By Prof. Dr. Emmanuel Benoist Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH)Darkmarkets are e-shops for illegal goods. People find drugs, fake ID's, credit card numbers, or stolen accounts for pay TV. The actors of darkmarkets want to remain as anonymous as possible. Markets are only accessible using an anonymous network, like ToR or I2P. Actors use cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins, Bitcoincash or Monero. We nevertheless want to evaluate the turnover of those markets. Which ones are the biggest ones? What is the turnover of the different sellers? We used different methods for evaluating the exchanges. Some are based on the site itself. The buyers must evaluate the sellers when a transaction is terminated. Those evaluations are public, so we can use them the estimate the quantity of goods sold by each seller. Another way to spy on transactions is to search for money. - 16:35 - 16:50
How to Phish – How does the perfect embedded training look like?
In this talk, we look at what research says about how the "perfect" phishing awareness training should look like. More specifically, we summarize important findings from a survey of more than 100 publications and we discuss how current and feature training tools should look like to make the "perfect" training a reality.
